We provide "Bed and Breakfast" quality accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere adjacent to the murmuring Monocacy Creek.
If you have never attended a program at the Institute for Jaques-Dalcroze Education, Inc., you are in for a real treat. The accommodations offered at the Institute are nothing short of outstanding. We are so fortunate to have the entire Center For Renewal available to our students for every program, workshop, or teacher-training session. The Center is owned and operated by the School Sisters of St. Francis who dedicate their time and effort to offering our students only the best in hospitality, support, and comfort.
The Sisters have carefully decorated each bedroom exclusively for your peace and tranquility throughout your studies. The Sisters make sure snacks and drinks are available 24 hours a day. You may use the laundry facilities located on the ground level, and you may make photocopies. The entire center is air conditioned and has secure, high-speed Wi-Fi service. Also, there are four bathroom faculties located on each floor. Each facility house three separate suites complete with a shower, tub, sink, and toilet, totally private. Also, each bedroom has a private sink.
The meals are offered in our amicable dining room three times a day. The room is large with a wall of natural light, and the tables have beautifully appointed linens. You will enjoy a full American breakfast, at lunch you will have a variety of sandwiches and wraps, several types of salad, and a different soup every day, and at supper time, Master Chef Carol presents a beautifully prepared main course complete with vegetables, salads, and a variety of bread. Carol cooks everything from scratch and with love. She is always ready to provide meals for those students who have special dietary needs without any exceptions or limitations. The meals at St. Francis would not be complete without the famous homemade desserts prepared by our wonderful pastry chef. The cookies are unbelievable especially when warm.
Sister Barbara Brown, our director of the Retreat Center, is committed to making your stay with us an experience like no other. Once you have tasted the hospitality, the comfort, and the meals, you may just want to stay for another week for some R&R and enjoy the Lehigh Valley.
